You buy the address. You change the nameservers. SiteRally hosts the website.
1. Buy your domain
Already own one? Skip this step. Otherwise, buy your address in your own registrar account. Buy the domain only; no hosting plan or website builder is needed. Check the registration and renewal prices before paying.
Domain fees are paid separately to your registrar.
2. Change two nameservers
In My website → Launch, copy the two nameservers assigned to your domain. If they are not ready, wait for them to appear. Do not use another website’s values.
- Sign in to Namecheap and open Domain List.
- Click Manage beside your domain.
- Under Nameservers, select Custom DNS.
- Paste both assigned nameservers and click the green checkmark to save.
At another registrar, open the domain’s Nameservers settings and choose custom nameservers. Namecheap’s illustrated instructions show where the setting lives.
That’s it. DNS can take up to 24 hours to update, sometimes longer. Keep your registrar account and domain renewal active.
Does this domain already have email?
Changing nameservers does not copy existing DNS records. Keep your email and verification records in the new DNS zone before switching. Domain setup instructions must be ready for that zone first.
